In The Midnight Hour is a dark and chilling medical thriller sure to keep you up at night. I especially liked the beginning; Ridgway knows how to get you hooked fast. Like romance? It's got some of that. Like creepy characters? Sure. Like to keep your dictionary close by? You'll have to if you aren't in a medical field. Thank goodness for the Kindle dictionary.

My only complaint is the overuse of adjectives. If he'd chopped out most of the words that end with "ly" it would've been an easier and more enjoyable read. It's a pet peeve of mine; other readers may not even notice.

Keep up the good work, Mr. Ridgway!
